John D'Amicantonio is a librarian at California State University, Long Beach (CSULB). In 1996 Mr. D'Amicantonio received a United States Information Agency speaker's grant to visit Phnom Penh, Cambodia and meet with library staff at the Royal University of Phnom Penh and several other government ministry libraries in Cambodia's capital. He has had the pleasure of returning to Cambodia twice since his initial visit.  Mr. D'Amicantonio received his M.S.L.S from The Catholic University of America in 1988 and an M.S. Ed. from the State University of New York at New Paltz in 1981. He is currently advisor to CSULB's Cambodian Student Society.
